Six Week Immersion into BRAVE

A virtual course that will change the way you communicate, both with others and with yourself.

Communication is stressful, especially right now. Everyone is going through something. You feel the need to say the exact right thing, the right way, at the perfectly right time to have any hope of reaching the outcome you want. It’s easier to just not bother, right? But where did taking the easy road ever get you?

This moment in history necessitates that we step up to the plate and get braver in conversation. Our wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around us depends on it.

Conversations never mattered more.

We can use conversation to take better care of ourselves and others. We can use it to strengthen relationships, deepen trust and manage stress levels.

Learn the art and science of effective conversation.

Our intimate, six week, virtual course is a place for leaders (leaders of companies, families, communities, i.e. people who take responsibility for themselves and for the wellbeing of others) to come together and practice using The BRAVE Framework™ by BRAVE Conversations in all facets of communication alongside peers in a safe environment.

Our evidence-based process is rooted in the tenets of hostage negotiation, positive psychology and the science of psychological safety. After six weeks, participants are armed with tools to manage themselves, their teams and address their families in new and more effective ways that translate to increased engagement, productivity, cohesion, morale and decreased stress.

“BRAVE was a game-changer! I highly recommend this series. BRAVE is for anyone wanting to learn how to have meaningful, honest, trustworthy and vulnerable conversations with those who are closest to them AND with people who are very different from them. It provides solid foundational principles for purposeful conversations, plus Elisabeth is authentic, genuine and shares her wisdom in a fun and engaging manner that appeals to all!”

What do we learn?

The BRAVE Framework™ explains and explores the ways in which we can use conversation to empower ourselves and those around us. It is a simple, research-based roadmap that acts as a step-by-step guide to make hard conversations possible and productive Learning how to listen BRAVE-ly is like learning a new language that transforms every relationship in your life. Over six weeks we will:

  • Learn one of the main mistakes made in conversation, what it does to our brain and how to prevent it from derailing your conversations in the future

  • How your brain impacts your ability to connect and it’s secret motivation that can derail conversations if not remedied

  • How to deeply support others, while not overburdening yourself.

  • How to read between the lines in conversation to begin to see the hidden “tells” being shared, so that you can respond to the driving forces behind the conversation (rather than the words being said) more skillfully

  • How to use conversation to managing the stress response, even while conveying difficult information

  • How to take radical responsibility for yourself first, so that you are equipped to navigate hard conversations in a way that yield deeper trust, stronger relationships and greater wellbeing.

I just finished reading Simon Sinek”s book, The Infinite Game and in it I had to reflect on somebody that I needed to build a better relationship with. I couldn’t think of anybody because of the BRAVE conversations I’ve had but also the mindset I now have that exhibits itself in “microBRAVE” not for difficult conversations but for all conversations and relationships. AWESOME!

“‘Lack of social support’ was found to be around two times more reliable at predicting who got PTSD and who didn’t than the severity of the trauma itself.”
